Introduction

In order to extend our support of non-standard creatives, the publisher API (pApi) was developed. With clients/agencies and publishers in mind, this should be the ideal way to integrate special formats into different layouts.

Up to now, it was in the hands of the creative agencies to position their ads correctly for each publisher. With the new pPapi baked right into the tag manager, the website can just be told that there's e.g. a sidebar ad, and it will give you as much space as it can. No more fiddling with the DOM elements of the publisher.
